The Many Uses of Twist Ties That Will Save You Money
As I was closing my bag of frozen vegetables with a twist tie, I realized that I never wrote about the many uses I have found for them.
Twist ties that you get from bread, rolls and other items, plus the ones you can get in the produce isle of the grocery store when buying fruit or vegetables can be reused for other things that will ultimately save you money.
I already mentioned the one I use twist ties for the most, which is resealing bags, they work great for closing frozen bags of fruit, and vegetables, but they also work for keeping bags of dry goods closed.
I don’t like to leave a bag of cereal open and in the box so I always close it with a twist tie, I do the same for rice, chips and anything that comes in a bag that can’t be sealed. Rubber bands work well too, but twist ties are easier to come by.
Let me know what you use twist ties for, I am sure that many of you have ideas on how to use twist ties to save money.
